This Fireburst MG Carve started with a simple but important challenge: build a lightweight, versatile instrument that truly fits the player instead of forcing the player to adapt. We began with a chambered FSC genuine mahogany body to keep things comfortable, then paired it with a 5A quilted maple top with incredible 3D depth and movement. A multi-stage fireburst finish was built over a deep amber base, layering translucent color to set the quilt on fire without losing the grain.

A torrified maple neck carved with the essence of a ’50s baseball bat profile was shaped to suit the player’s larger hands, joined by a special grade Cameroon ebony fretboard for smooth playability and articulate response. A handmade JP Woodtone bridge with ebony saddles and a string-through body design keep every note lively and resonant.

A custom Lollar HSS set featuring an Imperial chrome-rimmed split-coil humbucker and two Lollar singles delivers serious flexibility, wired by hand with silver-plated leads and a push-to-tap tone knob for instant tonal shifts. The result is a purpose-built instrument that balances comfort, character, and range, equally at home under stage lights or in the studio.
