Henry (Hyland) Altenberg is a session musician, guitarist, and singer-songwriter from Chicago, Illinois. He has written and recorded with C3ZR, Alicia “Yah Yah” Townsend, Akili N Mail, and his jazz-fusion band Vision Test is releasing through Sony’s “The Orchard” platform in July 2025. 

He’s also a dedicated music educator who has been teaching at the world renowned Old Town School of Folk Music since 2021 and is excited—whether it be through educational outreach or live performance—to share the gift of music every day
